Kasih Ibu respects your privacy. This policy explains how the Kasih Ibu mobile app, website, and backend services handle information for pregnancy journey tools, contraction timing, education, account sync, premium access, advertising, payments, and AI-assisted summaries.

Information you provide

You may use the app locally without signing in. If you choose to sign in, we process account information such as your email address, display name, Firebase user ID, and Google sign-in identifiers when applicable. The app may also store pregnancy journey information such as estimated due date or pregnancy age, contraction records, contraction notes, labor session data when enabled, breathing exercise choices, language and theme preferences, premium entitlement status, and support messages you choose to send.

Local mode and cloud sync

If you skip login, your app data is intended to remain local on your device. If you sign in, eligible data may be backed up and restored through Firebase-backed services so your journey and premium status can be recovered. Logging out pauses cloud features on that device, but local information may remain unless you delete or reset it.

Premium, ads, and payments

Premium features may be unlocked through rewarded ads or a lifetime purchase. Google AdMob may process ad identifiers, device information, approximate location, and ad interaction data according to its own policies and consent flows. Lifetime premium payments are created and verified through trusted backend payment endpoints. Xendit and other payment processors may receive information needed to process and confirm payment. Payment secret keys are never shipped in the mobile app or public website bundle.

AI-assisted summaries

AI smart summaries are requested through our backend only. The mobile app sends recent contraction timing, optional symptom notes, locale, timezone, and your authenticated session to the backend. The backend may call DeepSeek or another configured AI provider to generate a short, non-diagnostic summary. High-risk inputs may be handled by safety templates instead of the AI provider. AI provider keys are kept server-side.

Education, legal pages, and WebView

The app loads education articles, privacy policy, and terms from Kasih Ibu web services. On Android, legal pages may be displayed in an in-app WebView using the public website URL. Web content may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser or WebView user agent, language, and timestamps.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the platform, including Firebase for authentication and cloud storage, Google sign-in, Google AdMob for ads, backend hosting, Xendit or other payment infrastructure for payments, and DeepSeek or configured AI providers for AI summaries. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Medical and safety information

Kasih Ibu is for supportive and informational use only. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency triage, or professional medical advice. Always contact a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency service for medical concerns.

Your choices

You can choose local mode, sign in or out, reset contraction records, change language and theme preferences, and contact us about account or data requests. Some cloud, premium, restore, payment, partner, and AI features require login so the backend can verify the request.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical safeguards for backend services, but no system is perfectly secure. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain purchase or entitlement records.
